St Pancras Station Refurbishment
The complete transformation...
St Pancras Station is a top ten Grade I listed building which is considered as important to English Heritage as Stonehenge and St. Paul's Cathedral. The complete redeveloped of the station was to transform it from an unloved domestic train station into an International terminal catering for 400 metre-long Eurostar trains and domestic travel to the North of England as well as providing extensive shops, cafes and public spaces. Works included full demolition of out of station arches. Construction of a new interim Station which allow full closure and refurbishment of the existing station. Construction of new Thames Link platforms, and Western Structures Building. Construction of 15 new platforms.
CCCL provided commercial and planning management services for this project. We were responsible for the procurement of all packages associated with the Western Structures and the Roof and all Heritage associated works. Contract administrations during the heavy civil engineering stage of this project and planning management of the programme of works to ensure this flagship project was completed on time and within budget for our clients.
