Programme management under NEC3

  11th December 2008

The role of the programme forms one of the most important aspects in administering a project under NEC3. It is essential that everyone involved with a project understands the requirements and effects of managing the programme in respect to their specific role within the team.

The workshop focuses on general planning aspects and specific management requirements of the programme under ECC3. It includes acceptance of programmes and the integration of early warnings/ compensation events into the programme.

It highlights the importance that the programme is not just used and produced by a planner but deals with how the project management and commercial functions overlap and how they need to understand and benefit from the programme for the lifecycle of the project. Suitable for anyone involved with the running of a project from clients down to subcontractors, in particular quantity surveyors, project managers and planners.
